Lovely friends,
I’ve been thinking about moving on lately and how much love we can bring into that process. We talk a lot about releasing the past and making room for something new, but I think there is also something really important about appreciating the person who got us here. Every version of us has learned something along the way, and all of those experiences have become part of the person we are now.
I know I can look back at certain times in my life and think, oh Lisa, what were you DOING? 😂 I’m sure most of us have a few of those. There are choices I would make differently now, things I understand differently, and situations I would probably handle completely differently if they happened again. But the only reason I know that now is because I lived through all of it.
That makes me feel a lot more compassionate toward my past self.
She was figuring things out. She loved people, trusted people, took chances, made mistakes, worked hard, changed her mind, learned some lessons the easy way and quite a few the hard way. She kept going. And everything she learned along the way eventually became wisdom that I get to use now.
I think that is such a beautiful way to work with Archangel Chamuel during a transition.
Chamuel is so closely connected with love, and I think we sometimes immediately think about romantic love or relationships when we talk about working with him. I love working with Chamuel around self-love too, especially when we are changing. There is something very healing about asking for help seeing ourselves through loving eyes while we are leaving one version of our life and beginning another.
You can thank your past self.
Seriously.
Thank yourself for getting through the things you weren’t sure you could get through. Thank yourself for the chances you took, the boundaries you eventually learned to make, the times you started over, and even some of the decisions that didn’t turn out the way you hoped. You learned from those too.
Then bring yourself back to the person standing here now.
Who are you now?
What do you know about yourself that you didn’t know five or ten years ago? What have you learned about love, work, money, friendship, boundaries, intuition, Spirit, happiness, and what actually matters to you? Give yourself some credit for all of that because you earned that wisdom by living your life.
This is where self-love becomes really important to me. We spend so much time thinking about who we need to become that we can forget to love the person who is already here. You don’t have to wait until you reach another goal, heal another thing, lose another pound, make more money, find the relationship, build the business, or finally get your entire life together.
You are allowed to love yourself here.
Right in the middle of figuring things out.
I think Chamuel can help us soften into that. You can simply ask, “Archangel Chamuel, help me see myself with love. Help me appreciate everything I have learned and help me open my heart to who I am becoming.”
Then pay attention to what comes up.
Maybe you realize you have been much harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you love. Maybe an old memory comes up and you suddenly understand yourself differently. Maybe you recognize how much you have grown in an area where you used to struggle.
Those little realizations matter.
And from there, I think manifestation becomes really fun because you aren’t creating your next chapter from a place of trying to fix yourself. You’re standing in the present with everything you have learned and asking yourself what you would genuinely love to experience next.
What sounds exciting?
What would feel good?
What are you ready to receive?
What kind of life would feel like it fits the person you are now?
Let yourself dream a little.
You don’t need every detail figured out. You can begin with the feeling, the idea, or the little spark that keeps getting your attention. Ask Spirit to guide you, ask Chamuel to help you stay connected to love, and then start participating in whatever new adventure is trying to unfold.
Maybe moving on can be that simple.
You can look back and say, “Thank you. I learned so much.”
You can look at yourself now and say, “I love who I am becoming.”
And then you can look forward and say, “Okay, let’s see what happens next.”
There is still so much life ahead of you. There are people you haven’t met, places you haven’t been, things you haven’t tried, ideas you haven’t had, and experiences you don’t even know to ask for yet.
Take everything you have learned with you.
Love the person standing here now.
And give yourself permission to get excited about the new adventure. 💜
Much love,
Lisa 💜
