Lovely friends,
I was thinking about this the other day because someone asked me how I actually use my intuition in real life, and I kind of just sat there for a second because I donāt really separate it out like that anymore. Itās not something I turn on or go looking for, itās just how I move through things now, and I think thatās the part people donāt always see because theyāre expecting it to feel like something bigger or clearer than it actually is.
Most of the time itās not loud at all. Itās actually really easy to miss if Iām in my head too much or trying to figure something out too far ahead. It shows up more in small moments, like something feeling easy or something feeling off, and Iāve learned to trust that more than trying to get a full answer right away.
There are a lot of days where I donāt feel like Iām getting anything specific, and that used to bother me more than it does now. I would think I was blocked or doing something wrong or not tuned in enough, but now I see that differently. If itās quiet, itās usually because Iām not meant to push anything yet, or Iām trying to make a decision that doesnāt need to be made right now.
So Iāve gotten more comfortable just coming back to whatās in front of me instead of trying to reach for clarity that isnāt there yet. That alone has taken a lot of pressure off, because I donāt feel like I have to force anything anymore.
I still catch myself overthinking sometimes. That hasnāt magically gone away. There are moments where I start running through all the possibilities and trying to land somewhere solid before Iāve even taken a step, and I can feel when Iām doing it because everything starts to feel tighter. Thatās usually when I stop and just ask myself what actually feels simple here, not perfect, not guaranteed, just simple.
And a lot of the time the answer is something small that I almost overlooked. Send the message. Wait a little. Donāt respond yet. Go do something else and come back. Itās rarely complicated, but my mind likes to make it that way if I let it.
Thereās also this thing where the first feeling comes in and then it gets questioned almost immediately. Iāve done that more times than I can count. Something feels like a no, and then my mind starts listing all the reasons it should be a yes, or something feels right and then I start picking it apart until Iām not even sure what I felt anymore.

Iāve gotten better at noticing that part. Not stopping it completely, just noticing it sooner so I donāt lose the original feeling as fast. Even if I donāt act on it right away, I donāt ignore it either. I kind of hold it there and see if it stays steady, and most of the time it does.
Itās actually been a lot more simple than I thought it would be when I first started paying attention to this. Itās not about getting everything right or having clear answers all the time. Itās more about staying honest with what Iām feeling in the moment and not talking myself out of it just because it doesnāt make sense yet.
And I think thatās the part that builds trust over time. Not big moments, just the small ones adding up. Choosing to listen, even when itās inconvenient or unclear, and seeing that it usually leads somewhere better than forcing things.
There are still times where I go against it, and I know Iām doing it while Iām doing it, which is always interesting. But even that has changed a little because I donāt stay there as long. I notice it faster and adjust quicker, and that makes a difference.
Itās not perfect, and I donāt think itās supposed to be. It just gets easier to recognize whatās yours and what isnāt, and to move from that place instead of trying to control everything ahead of time.
And honestly, that feels a lot better than trying to have all the answers.
A few years ago, I created a meditation with Archangel Raziel to help strengthen intuition, and itās actually been one of the most loved ones Iāve ever shared. So I felt like it was time to bring it back here for you, especially if youāve been wanting something simple to help you connect more clearly with your own inner guidance.
Working with Raziel was a turning point for me. It wasnāt dramatic or flashy, it was steady. He helped me trust what I was already sensing instead of second-guessing it, and that changed everything. Not just in how I experience my own life, but in how I show up for my clients too.
So if you feel pulled to it, I wanted to share it with you here.
And if youāre wanting to go a little deeper with this kind of work, we also have the Friday Night Reiki Energy Exchange group over on Patreon. Itās a really simple, supportive space where you can just show up, receive, and stay connected to your own energy in a consistent way. If that feels like something youād like, weād genuinely love to have you there.
