I recorded a new one-hour Distance Reiki session this week, and this one became much bigger energetically than I originally expected. I knew I wanted to work with Archangel Metatron, Michael, and Raphael together, but once I started putting the session together, I kept coming back to the image of the Purple Flame above the crown. It felt like the perfect meeting place for what each of these three angels brings into the work. Metatron brings that higher perspective and sense of order, Michael brings protection and clearing, and Raphael brings healing and restoration. Instead of treating those as three separate things, I wanted this Reiki session to let them work together.
I’ve always found that some Reiki sessions feel very physical and grounding, while others seem to work much more through the emotional or spiritual layers of us. This one feels like it moves through all of them. We go high into the crown, third eye, sacred geometry, intuition, and higher guidance, but I was also very intentional about bringing all of that energy back down through the body before we finish. I don’t particularly want to finish a spiritual practice feeling like I’ve left half of myself floating somewhere near the ceiling. Whatever clarity, healing, or shift we receive still has to come back into our actual life.
That has become more and more important to me in my own spiritual work. I love the mystical side of this. Give me the angels, sacred geometry, Reiki, energy, intuition, and the Purple Flame. I am completely there for it. But eventually I still have to get up, answer emails, make decisions, deal with people, take care of my body, pay bills, and figure out what we’re having for dinner. For me, spiritual work is most useful when what happens in that quiet energetic space helps us live our regular lives with a little more clarity.
Why Metatron, Michael and Raphael Together?
I’ve worked with all three of these Archangels individually for years, and they each have a very different feeling to me. I tend to experience Archangel Michael as strong, direct, protective energy. When I’m working with Michael, I often think about boundaries, clearing, courage, protection, and removing some of the energetic noise we’ve accumulated from everything we’ve been around. We interact with people, places, conversations, social media, work situations, family situations, and all kinds of emotional energy throughout a normal week. Sometimes I think we simply need a good energetic cleanout.
Archangel Raphael brings a completely different quality into the space for me. Raphael’s energy has always felt restorative. In this session, I wanted that healing energy flowing while Michael was doing the clearing because I don’t think healing is only about removing something. Sometimes we also need to replenish ourselves afterward. If you’ve had a stressful period or have been giving a lot of yourself away, clearing can create the space, but then I want something gentle and supportive moving into that space too.
Then there is Metatron.
Metatron has always fascinated me because the energy feels both mystical and incredibly organized at the same time. There is sacred geometry, higher consciousness, spiritual development, and all of this enormous expansive energy, but underneath it I often feel a sense of order. Things being put where they belong. Energy becoming clearer. Pieces beginning to make sense together.
Maybe that’s why I enjoy working with Metatron so much. Apparently even my mystical experiences need a filing system.
Bringing these three together felt like creating a complete movement through the energy body. Michael can help us clear and strengthen the outside of the field. Raphael can bring healing and restoration through the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers. Metatron can help us move upward into perspective and then integrate what we’ve received so it doesn’t remain just a lovely hour we spent meditating.
The Purple Flame Became the Center of This Reiki
The Purple Flame begins above the crown in this session, and I wanted it to feel spacious rather than forceful. You aren’t trying to make anything happen. You’re allowing yourself to receive Reiki while imagining this beautiful violet energy moving through what you’re ready to release, transform, understand, or simply stop carrying.
I think sometimes we approach energy clearing as though we need to identify every single thing that needs to go. We start mentally making a list of old patterns, old relationships, old emotions, fears, blocks, limiting beliefs, cords, and everything else we’ve collected along the way. There can certainly be value in understanding our patterns, but we don’t always need to conduct a full investigation before we’re allowed to let something go.
Sometimes I think our body and energy know we’re finished with something before our mind has created the PowerPoint presentation explaining why.
That’s part of what I wanted the Purple Flame to represent in this session. You can let the Reiki move where it needs to move. You can allow yourself to release without having to understand every layer of what is happening. If something specific comes into your awareness, you can notice it. If nothing comes up at all, you can receive the Reiki anyway.
You don’t have to perform healing correctly.
Metatron’s Cube and Sacred Geometry
As the session deepens, I bring in Metatron’s Cube around the energy body in white, gold, violet, and electric blue light. Sacred geometry can become very complicated very quickly if we start trying to intellectually understand every symbol and every possible meaning, but during Reiki I prefer to experience it rather than analyze it.
I think of Metatron’s Cube almost like an energetic structure around the session. There is movement happening inside it, but there is also containment and order. For someone whose mind has been busy, whose energy feels scattered, or who has been pulled in twenty directions at once, I love the idea of simply sitting inside something that represents balance and organization for a while.
You don’t need to visualize every line perfectly. I certainly don’t believe Metatron is standing there with a ruler grading your geometry.
If you can imagine light around you, that’s enough. If you can picture the Cube clearly, wonderful. If you don’t visualize at all, let my words carry that part of the meditation while you receive the Reiki.
The energy doesn’t depend on your artistic ability.
Clearing What Isn’t Yours Anymore
One of the deeper parts of this Reiki session is the work with Archangel Michael around the outside of the energy field. We move through old cords, attachments, emotional residue, and energy that doesn’t feel like it belongs with you anymore.
I want to be careful with the way I talk about this because I don’t believe we need to become afraid of other people’s energy. I’ve never liked spiritual practices that make us feel as though we’re walking through the world completely vulnerable to everything around us. That can create more anxiety than empowerment, and that’s the opposite of what I want my work to do.
We influence each other. We carry conversations with us. We can walk away from an interaction feeling heavy, irritated, depleted, inspired, energized, loved, or completely confused. Sometimes we’re carrying our own emotional response, sometimes we’re sensitive to the atmosphere around us, and sometimes we simply need a moment to come back to ourselves.
For me, energetic clearing is less about being afraid of what somebody else has done to us and more about remembering what belongs to us.
That’s why there is a point in this Reiki where we consciously call our own energy back.
I love that part.
Not dramatically. Not angrily. We’re simply gathering ourselves back from all the places our attention has been scattered and allowing ourselves to become present again.
The Question I Wanted to Ask in This Healing
There is a quieter point in the session when I ask Archangel Metatron and Archangel Michael:
What do I need to carry forward from this healing?
I chose that question very intentionally.
We spend a lot of time in spiritual work talking about what we’re releasing, clearing, healing, cutting away, or leaving behind. All of that can be useful, but at some point I think we also need to ask what we’re taking with us.
Maybe it’s a word.
Maybe you see an image or symbol. Maybe a memory comes forward. Maybe you feel something in your body or simply have a quiet sense of knowing. You may suddenly understand that you need stronger boundaries, more rest, a conversation, a decision, more trust in yourself, or absolutely nothing dramatic at all.
You don’t have to force an answer.
In fact, I would rather you receive nothing during the Reiki than strain so hard to receive a message that you manufacture one because you think you’re supposed to.
Ask the question and give it room.
Sometimes an answer arrives while we’re sitting quietly. Sometimes it shows up tomorrow while we’re making coffee.
Spirit doesn’t always need special effects.
Bringing All That Energy Back Down
Toward the end of this Reiki session, we deliberately begin moving downward again. The higher spiritual energy comes through the crown, heart, lower chakras, legs, feet, and all the way into the toes. Michael strengthens and seals the outside of the energy field, Raphael sends another wave of healing through the body, and Metatron helps integrate everything we’ve been working with.
That grounding portion is every bit as important to me as opening the crown.
I don’t want you finishing an hour of Reiki feeling disconnected from your body or your life. I want you to feel present. Maybe calmer. Maybe clearer. Maybe tired and ready for a nap. Maybe you don’t notice anything immediately and realize two days later that you’re looking at something differently.
Energy work doesn’t have to produce fireworks to be meaningful.
Afterward, drink some water. Give yourself a little time before rushing into the next thing if you can. Pay attention to what comes into your awareness without analyzing every thought or coincidence. If you feel tired, rest. If you feel energized, use it. If something emotional comes up, give yourself room to process it.
And then go live your life.
That’s where the integration really happens.
One Hour of Distance Reiki With Metatron, Michael and Raphael
I created this session for those times when you feel ready for deeper clearing, spiritual alignment, energetic protection, healing, or simply an hour where you don’t have to be the one holding everything together.
We’ll begin by calling in your angels, loving ancestors, Spirit guides, and loving spiritual team. Archangel Michael anchors the energy at the feet while Archangel Raphael begins bringing healing through the crown. Metatron then joins us as we move into the higher chakras, sacred geometry, the Purple Flame, and deeper Reiki throughout the energy body.
You can lie down, sit somewhere comfortable, meditate with me, or simply let the session play while you rest. Headphones can make the experience more immersive, but they’re certainly not required. You also don’t need to stay completely focused on every word. Let yourself receive in whatever way feels natural.
And as always, Reiki is part of my spiritual and complementary wellness practice. It isn’t a replacement for medical or mental health care, and I don’t think we have to choose between spiritual support and practical care. I’ve spent enough of my own life dealing with the human body to appreciate both.
You can believe in energy healing and still see your doctor.
You can ask Archangel Michael for protection and still put on your seatbelt.
You can work with Metatron for clarity and still read the contract.
I think our spiritual lives become much stronger when they support our common sense rather than replace it.
So get comfortable, lovely friend. Let yourself have this hour. You don’t need to fix anything before you begin, and you don’t need to know exactly what needs to shift.
We’ll start where you are.
